Whisper uses ultrasonic technology to listen for the sound of a gas moving through a leak site, making it a super versatile tool for leak checking ANY gas in pressurized or vacuum systems. The optional accessory kit adds even more functionality, allowing for leak checking of door seals, ducts, steam traps, and mechanical parts like bearings. The leak detector includes a specialized built-in receiver that detects frequencies in the 40.5 kHz range. Through sophisticated circuitry, Whisper locates the ultrasound’s source, while an internal noise control ensures the instrument is unaffected by audible noise.
